Spain's motor vehicle output up 11 percent in Q1

In March of the current year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 220,435 units, rising by 26.99 percent year on year, according to the data reported by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC). Meanwhile, in the first quarter this year Spain's total motor vehicle output reached 618,478 units, rising by 10.98 percent year on year.

In March this year, Spanish passenger car output increased by 19.39 percent year on year to 166,605 units. Meanwhile, in the first quarter the passenger car segment recorded an increase of 5.17 percent year on year in output to 466,041 units.

On the other hand, in March the country's motor vehicle export volume increased by 20.22 percent to 185,427 units, while the volume for the first quarter rose by 7.80 percent to 518,830 units, both year on year.
