Spain’s motor vehicle output down 11.1 percent in April from March

In April this year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 223,668 units, increasing by 4.22 percent year on year and down 11.1 percent month on month, according to the data announced by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC). In the first four months of this year, Spain's motor vehicle output totaled 938,019 units, up 12.59 percent year on year.

In April, Spanish passenger car output totaled 180,974 units, rising by 10.75 percent year on year and down 12.67 percent month on month. In the January-April period, passenger car output reached 762,122 units, up 21,08 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, Spain's motor vehicle export volume in April increased by 5.81 percent year on year and was down 10.93 percent month on month, amounting to 186,467 units, while in the first four months of the year the export volume rose by 9.99 percent year on year to 764,527 units.
