According to major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, its Hebei-based subsidiary Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Shigang), recently exported 100Cr6 high-end bearing steel to South America for the first time. The delivery in question totaled 200 mt.

Shigang ranks among the top three bearing steel producers in China. With reduced possibilities in its domestic steel market, Shigang has started to focus more on markets in Europe and the Americas.
