Russian exports in January-July

According to the data released by the Federal Customs Service of Russian Federation, in the January-July of 2006, Russia exported 17.457 million metric tons of ferrous metals (excluding pig iron, ferroalloys and scrap), amounting to $7.4 billion; 3.41 million metric tons of pig iron, amounting to $763.7 million; 377,100 metric tons of ferroalloys, amounting to $596.1 million, 8.735 million metric tons of semi-finished products from carbon steel, amounting to $2.87 billion; and 5.7 million metric tons of flat rolled from carbon steel, amounting $2.63 billion. During the given period, the amount of exports beyond the CIS states was equal to 16.146 million metric tons of ferrous metals (excluding pig iron, ferroalloys and scrap), 3.214 million metric tons of pig iron, 354,100 metric tons of ferroalloys, 8.577 million metric tons of semi-finished products from carbon steel and 5.361 million metric tons of flat rolled from carbon steel.
