Oskol Metallurgical Plant (OEMK), a subsidiary of the Russian iron ore and steel producing company Metalloinvest Holding (Metalloinvest), plans to increase its crude steel production in December by between seven and eight percent month on month to 280,000-283,000 mt, while its output of rolled steel products is expected to be in the range of 260,000-265,000 mt. Also in December, OEMK will ship around 140,000-145,000 mt of square billets, up 20 percent month on month, including 110,000-115,000 mt for export.

In the January-November period of this year, OEMK produced around 3 million mt of crude steel and more than 2.7 million mt of rolled steel products, more or less unchanged from the same period last year.
