North American rig counts, week ending July 29

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the North American rotary rig count increased 1 to 1,586 for the week ending July 29. This reflects a marked increase from the 943 rigs reported during the same period in 2009. Since the start of 2010, the US rotary rig count has increased by 366.
