MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 1.1 percent

On February 10, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (February 2-8) the overall average finished steel price in China declined by 1.1 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of common hot rolled sheet and high-speed wire rod in China declined by 1.7 percent and 1.6 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 2.0 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) increased by 1.2 percent week on week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal, thermal coal and coking coal declined by 0.2 percent, 0.2 percent and 0.5 percent respectively.
