Sangang Minguang sees 6.54 percent drop in operating revenue in H1

Fujian Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fujian Sangang Minguang Co., Ltd (Sangang Minguang) has announced an operating revenue of RMB 6.141 billion ($0.92 billion) for the first half of the current year, down 6.54 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 360 million ($53.89 million) compared to the net loss of RMB 269 million recorded in the same period of 2015. 

In the first six months this year, Sangang Minguang produced 2.7805 million mt of pig iron, 3.0416 million mt of crude steel and 3.0273 million mt of finished steel, up 0.71 percent, down 0.99 percent and increasing by 1.23 percent year on year, respectively.
