Metso to supply iron ore equipment to JSW Steel

Finland-based global engineering and technology company Metso Corporation has announced that it subsidiary Metso Minerals (Metso) has received an order from India's third largest steelmaker JSW Steel Ltd for the supply of an iron ore induration machine.
 
Metso will deliver the machine to JSW Steel's Vijayanager facility in District Bellary, India. The delivery is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2010 and the value of the order is estimated at approximately €11 million.
 
The order includes a 464 square meter induration machine with 177 pellet cars with a feed rate of 375 mt per hour of iron ore pellets. In addition, Metso will be responsible for the start-up, commissioning and training services.
