Masteel develops American standard H-beam for trailer trucks

China’s Masteel recently succeeded in producing American standard W12×19 H-beams for use in trailer trucks. Since the company’s small hot rolled H-beam production line came on line this past April, Masteel has developed nine series of common H-beam and light H-beam in a total of eighteen specifications. Masteel’s American standard H-beam for use in trailer trucks includes grades SM490YA, A992 and A572. The H-beam comes in W12×19 and W12×16 specifications. The requirements for steel used in American standard products are high in the aspects of performance, component and size. However, as early as 1999, Masteel had successfully developed five series of American standard products in A36, A572 and A992 grades and a total of 140 specifications. SteelOrbis Shanghai
