Jingshun Special Steel to commission new project at end of May

Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jingshun Special Steel Co. has announced that it will carry out trial production on its new special steel project in May this year, while commissioning is expected to take place at the end of May. The project has a designed annual output capacity of 500,000 mt.

Located in Miaoshan in the Laicheng district of Laiwu city in Shandong, the project is focused on the production of quality mechanical bearings. Total investment is estimated at RMB 1.2 billion ($190 million), while annual sales revenues are expected to reach RMB 2.8 billion ($443 million).
