ITC determination on AD duties on carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) yesterday announced its determination regarding antidumping duty investigation into certain carbon steel butt-weld
pipe fittings from
Brazil,
China,
Japan,
Taiwan and
Thailand.
According to a notice released in the Federal Register on November 3, 2005, the ITC found that revocation of the existing antidumping duty orders on certain carbon steel butt-weld
pipe fittings imported from
Brazil,
China,
Japan,
Taiwan and
Thailand would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market.
As a result of the ITC's decision, the existing orders on imports of carbon steel butt-weld
pipe fittings from
Brazil,
China,
Japan,
Taiwan, and
Thailand will remain in effect.
