Final results of AD review on certain pipe fittings from 5 countries
On December 1, 2004, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on certain carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Brazil, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, and China. On the basis of adequate responses from domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited (120-day) sunset reviews. As a result of these reviews, the DOC determined that the revocation of the antidumping duty orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping. The dumping margins for the five countries are as follows:Countries/Producers Weighted-average margin Brazil All Manufacturers/Producers/Exporters............52.25% Taiwan Rigid.............................................6.84% C.M...............................................8.57% Gei Bay..........................................87.30% Chup Hsin........................................87.30% All Others.......................................49.46% Japan Awajoi Sangyo, K.K...............................30.83% Nippon Benkan Kogyo, Ltd.
