Iran’s Khuzestan province to produce wide steel sheets

The Iranian Ministry of Industries and Mines announced that a project aimed at producing 1 million tons of wide steel sheets annually had been implemented in Khuzestan province. The Ministry indicated that in addition to the undertaking, 12 million tons of steel have been produced as a result of other projects. Iran envisions increasing its annual steel production to 25 million tons by 2010.
