Interpipe Steel, the electric steel-melting complex of Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe, has announced that in the January-September period this year its production of crude steel decreased by 35.1 percent compared to the same period of last year to 443,000 mt. In September alone, the company produced 47,000 mt of crude steel, while in the previous month it produced 62,000 mt.
As announced previously, Interpipe has been facing problems with scrap supplies during the last several months.
