Interpipe issues improved financial results for 2011

Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe has stated that it has improved its main financial results in 2011 in comparison with its results for 2010.

In 2011, total pipe sales increased by 10 percent to 911,700 mt compared to 2010, while total wheel sales rose by six percent to 170,300 mt compared to 2010. At the same time, revenue in 2011 increased by 32.7 percent year on year to $1.670 million driven by higher sales volumes. Adjusted EBITDA increased from $169.5 million in 2010 to $255.5 million in 2011. The adjusted EBITDA margin amounted to 15.3 percent for 2011. Net profit was $41 million for 2011 as compared to $24 million for 2010.
