Indian miner Sesa Goa’s net profit rises 208 percent in Q2 2010

Indian iron ore producer Sesa Goa Ltd has issued its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended on June 30, reporting increased sales revenues and net profit.
 
Net sales income in the second quarter of the year rose 132 percent to Rupees 26.92 billion ($571 million) from Rupees 11.59 billion during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net profit increased 208 percent to Rupees 13.02 billion ($276 million) from Rupees 4.22 billion during the second quarter of the previous year.
