Home sales in Turkey increase in Q1

In the first quarter of the current year, home sales in Turkey increased by 28.6 percent as compared to the fourth quarter of 2012 and were up 89 percent year on year, with 273,826 houses sold, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In 2012, home sales in Turkey had increased three percent as compared to the previous year, amounting to 431,485 houses.
