Hebei continues with outdated capacity elimination efforts

At a recent conference held in Hebei, China, Chinese researcher Weng Yuqing said that Hebei province has already made great progress in terms of outdated capacity elimination, however adding that it is going to be imposed greater pressure in this area next year.

Mr Weng stated that the year-to-date eliminated steel capacities of Hebei province would stand at 11.81 million mt as of end of September, accounting for 33.5 percent of the total target of the country for the period in question.
