NBS: China’s crude steel output down 1.7 percent in 2022

China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has issued its Statistical Communique on National Economic and Social Development in 2022, announcing that China’s crude steel output amounted to 1.02 billion mt in 2022, down 1.7 percent year on year.

According to the previous monthly statistics issued by NBS for the year, China’s crude steel output amounted to 1.01 billion mt.
