Hangzhou Steel’s new product output totals 134,000 mt in Q1

Zhejiang Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hangzhou Iron and Steel Co. (Hangzhou Steel) has announced that it produced 134,000 mt of newly-developed steel products in the first quarter of the current year, up 17,000 mt quarter on quarter. Meanwhile, the output value in question reached RMB 560 million ($88.78 million).
 
Hangzhou Steel said that it is committed to developing new products amid softening demand and fierce competition from other steel mills.
