Chongqing Steel eyes annual sales revenue of over RMB 100 billion by 2015

Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel has stated that by 2015 its sales revenue is expected to exceed RMB 100 billion ($15.82 billion).
 
Of this total, its sales revenues of iron and steel products are expected to account for RMB 60 billion ($9.49 billion), its mineral resource revenues are expected to account for RMB 30 billion ($4.75 billion), while other non-steel sales revenues are foreseen to exceed RMB 12 billion ($1.899 billion).
 
In 2011, Chongqing Steel's sales revenues reached RMB 31.4 billion ($4.97billion).

Meanwhile, in June this year the company produced 485,322 mt of pig iron, 491,492 mt of crude steel and 442,530 mt of finished steel, up 3.42 percent, 4.56 percent and 9.87 percent month on month, respectively.
