In November this year,
Germany's
crude steel output amounted to 3.5 million metric tons, decreasing slightly by 0.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and down by 6.9 percent compared to October, according to the information provided by the German steel federation Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl). According to WV Stahl, German
crude steel production has decreased year on year for 12 months since October 2011 and September 2012, both included and it stabilizes in November this year for the second month in a row, reaching the levels very close to those of 2011. WV Stahl also noted that the recent stabilization might significate that the inventory cycle has now become favourable to steel
production.
In the first 11 months of 2012,
Germany's
crude steel production totaled 39.6 million metric tons, falling by 4.1 percent as compared to the same period of 2011.
On the other hand, in October
