In November 2011, the turnover in France's manufacturing industry rose by 1.7 percent month on month, following a month-on-month increase of 1.2 percent in October, according to France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). Meanwhile, exports of France's manufacturing sector rose slightly by 0.3 percent in November as compared to October, after a 2.1 percent month-on-month increase recorded in October.
In November 2011, the turnover of French metal and metal product manufacturing rose by 0.3 percent as compared to October. Meanwhile, a noticeable 8.8 percent month-on-month increase was recorded in the turnover in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers. In November, machinery and equipment manufacturing saw a slight decrease of 0.4 percent in turnover, while turnover in the country's construction industry rose by one percent, both compared to the previous month.
