Evraz ZSMK to increase wire production

Evraz ZSMK, a Siberian steel division of steel and mining group Evraz, has announced that it is going to install three new highly-productive wire drawing mills supplied by Ernst Koch Gmbh & Co. The modern equipment will enable the company to increase its wire production by over 20,000 mt per year. Investment in the project will total RUB 145 million ($3.58 million).

The realization of the project will enlarge the share of Evraz ZSMK in the Russian hardware market and will improve the competitiveness of the company. The new equipment will begin production operations in the first half of 2015.
