Dongbei Special Steel starts to commission large bar production line

On January 26, Dalian-based Chinese special steel producer Dongbei Special Steel Group announced that its newly-built facility located in Dengshahe, Dalian successfully carried out cold test runs at its large bar production line 1050 on the date in question. Hot trial runs will now be carried out on the production line.
 
The large bar production line in question was constructed by Dongbei Special Steel Electro-Machinery Co., a subsidiary of Dongbei Special Steel Group. The construction, which started in June 2009, cost a total of RMB 132 million ($20 million).
