DOC publishes final results of AD review on imported pipe fittings
On February 2, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on certain stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. On the basis of adequate responses from domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited (120-day) sunset reviews. As a result of these reviews, the DOC determined that the revocation of the antidumping duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping. The dumping margins for the three countries are as follows:Countries/Producers Weighted-average margin Japan Mie Horo.........................................65.08% Nippon Benkan Kogyo, K.K.........................37.24% All Others.......................................49.31% South Korea The Asia Bend Co.
