DOC initiates new shipper review for certain tubes from Turkey

On May 31, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) received a request from Turkish producer Tosçelik for a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on certain welded carbon steel pipe and tube imported from Turkey. The producer claims that it did not export the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review. Upon this request, the DOC decided to initiate an AD new shipper review for Tosçelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A. S, and its affiliated export trading company, Tosyali Dis Ticaret A.S. The period of review is May 1, 2004 through April 30, 2005. The DOC will issue the preliminary results of this new shipper review no later than 180 days after the initiation of this review.
