Demand in Germany’s building construction rises significantly in June

As reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the total price-adjusted value of orders received by building construction and civil and underground engineering enterprises in Germany improved by 0.3 percent in June this year from the same month of the previous year.
 
In June, building construction demand increased by 14.2 percent, while demand in civil and underground engineering decreased by 10.7 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
