Robert L. Cotton, President of Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (CWRN) Friday announced that the company's Baja Pacific Iron Mining Project is currently working under section 120 of the Mining Law "Exploration Status" until all mining permits are issued; further it is expected that all mining permits will be issued within the next two weeks. The company has completed clearing and cleaning the roads in and around the concession and has started collecting loose iron ore floats and breaking the materials up for crushing with a hydraulic hammer; there are approximately 80,000 metric tons of loose iron mineral floats within the concession. Crushing equipment should be arriving at the Guadalupe Mining Concession by the 20th of this month and full production starting immediately thereafter in anticipation of making the first bulk cargo vessel load before the end of September 2010.
Bulk shipments will be loaded out at the Pacific Ocean Port of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. PanAmerican Minerals Ventures, S.A. de C.V., a Joint Venture Company, is the operating company for the Baja Pacific Iron Ore Mining Project.
