Chuanwei Steel builds blast furnace No. 2 in Neijiang

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chuanwei Iron and Steel Group (Chuanwei Steel) has announced that it has completed construction work on the body of a second 1,750 cubic meter blast furnace. Installation of relevant equipment for the blast furnace now remains to be completed.

Based in the county of Weiyuan in Neijiang city in Sichuan, the overall project in question involves the construction of two 1,750 cubic meter blast furnaces.
