China’s iron ore output up 5.9 percent in January-August

In August this year, China’s raw iron ore production amounted to 115.491 million mt, down 0.5 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-August period of the current year, China’s raw iron ore production totaled 863.879 million mt, rising by 5.9 percent year on year.
