China’s foreign trade value down slightly in November

In November of the current year, China's total foreign trade value amounted to $368.85 billion, indicating a year-on-year decrease of 0.5 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on December 8. In the given period, the total value of China's exports amounted to $211.66 billion, up 4.7 percent, while Chinese imports totaled $157.19 billion in value, down 6.7 percent, both year on year, resulting in a trade surplus of $54.47 billion.

In the January-November period of the current year, China's foreign trade value amounted to $3.9 trillion, up 3.4 percent, with a total export value of $2.12 trillion, increasing by 5.7 percent, and a total import value of $1.78 trillion, up 0.8 percent, all year on year. The trade surplus for the period in question was $332.5 billion.
