Ministry of Commerce: Trade surplus in GDP would further fall in China

The Ministry of Commerce spokesman Yao Jian said that the annual trade surplus this year will fall from $183.5 billion level of last year, while the ratio of the trade surplus in GDP will also decrease to about 3 percent. He added that the common GDP growth stands at 7-8 percent.
 
According to the data recently released by General Administration of Customs of China, In January-June period, trade surplus totaled $44.93 billion, down 18.2%.

In June, exports reached $161.98 billion in China, showing a year on year increase of 17.9 percent, but slight declines were observed compared to the previous months. In January-June period, exports and imports totaled $1.7 trillion, up 25.8 percent year-on-year, including $874.3 billion exports, a year on year increase of 24 percent
