China’s crude steel output totals 47.26 million mt in November

According to the latest figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China produced 44.81 million mt of pig iron, 47.26 million mt of crude steel and 62.95 million mt of finished steel in the month of November, all up over 35 percent year on year. Compared with the previous month, productions of pig iron and crude steel have slid by 4.469 million mt and 4.4869 million mt respectively, with only the finished steel production up by 500,000 mt month on month.

 

Meanwhile, average daily production during the month in question reached 1.575 million mt, down by 93,900 mt compared with October.
