ChinaCoal’s coal sales decline 4.6 percent in August

China National Coal Group Corporation (ChinaCoal), the second largest coal mining enterprise in mainland China, has issued its operational results for August and the first eight months of the current year.
 
In August, ChinaCoal’s output of commercial coal amounted to 8.86 million mt, increasing by 0.2 percent year on year, while its coal sales in the month totaled 11.1 million mt, decreasing by 4.6 percent year on year.
 
Inthe first eight months of the year, ChinaCoal’s production volume for commercial coal totaled 73.13 million mt, up 5.5 percent, while its coal sales amounted to 92.78 millon mt, up 4.3 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
