China reviews AD on CR SS sheet imports from Japan and S. Korea

Chinese Ministry of Commerce has held a review on antidumping duties imposed to certain cold rolled stainless sheet importers from Japan and South Korea.

As a result of the review, the ministry has decided to validate a privileged 27 percent stainless steel anti-dumping duty on Japanese Yakin Kawasaki Co Ltd, which is evidenced as the official distributor of Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co Ltd. Other Japanese companies that export cold rolled stainless steel sheet to China are subject to 58 percent duty.

Meanwhile, South Korean Daihan St Co Ltd shall succeed the rights and obligations of Daihan Electric Wire Co Ltd in price commitment agreement. In this regard, no anti-dumping duty shall be imposed on Daihan St. Co Ltd so long as it abides by the price commitment. Other South Korean cold rolled stainless steel sheet imports, and Daihan Electric Wire Co Ltd. are subject to 57 percent anti-dumping duty.
