Benxi Steel inks strategic cooperation deal with Dalian Port Group

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Group Co. (Benxi Steel Group) has announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement for 2014 with Liaoning-based Dalian Port Group, which is expected to boost the development of both sides as well as boost the local economy.
 
According to Zhang Xiaofang, chairman of Benxi Steel Group, the cooperation with Dalian Port Group will help to improve the steelmaker's logistics, reduce its costs as well as boost its efficiency.
