Argentina's auto output down 19.8 percent in June

In June this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) decreased by 0.1 percent compared to May and by 19.8 percent year on year, amounting to 50,904 units, according to the report released by country's auto association (AFEDA). Meanwhile, in the first half of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 308,423 units, down 21.8 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
 
In June, Argentina's auto exports totaled 34,418 units, up 14.23 percent month on month, but down 19.25 percent year on year. In the first half, the country's auto exports decreased by 23.33 percent year on year to 171,375 units.
