ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output down 2.7 percent in H1

In the first half of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 3.037 million mt, down 2.7 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the first six months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 6.6 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 2.659 million mt, while its pig iron production in the given period declined by 1.5 percent year on year to 2.670 million mt.

Meanwhile, in June alone, the company produced 560,000 mt of crude steel, 490,000 mt of pig iron and 481,000 mt of finished steel products.
