This week,
rebar offers from Turkish steel producers to the UAE market are at $450-460/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis and new deals have been heard in this price range in the UAE market, according to UAE-based market sources. Two Turkish steel producers have concluded deals in the UAE for a total of about 70,000 mt of
rebar at $450/mt CFR, on theoretical weight basis. It is also stated that these producers have completed their sales for March shipment.
Meanwhile, other
ex-Turkey rebar deals to the UAE have also been concluded in the current week.
