Activity in the Czech seamless
pipe market is still weak due to stagnation in consuming industries. Over the past month, export offers of Czech seamless pipes have remained mostly unchanged, though declining by a maximum of €10/mt ($14mt) in some cases. However, despite low stocks, Czech traders remain cautious about rebuilding inventories since many of their customers are reporting low activity levels. The construction sector in the Czech Republic may continue to face difficulties in the coming period due to a weak cash flow into large construction projects. Market players do not expect any significant growth of demand from Czech consumers in the coming period, though they are more hopeful for better demand from foreign buyers.
