tubular goods (OCTG) casing is all over the map, depending on the country, originating mill and the tonnages that are on the table. Most Korean producers are offering in the approximate range of $43.75-$44.75 cwt. ($965-987/mt or $875-$895/nt) DDP loaded truck in
US Gulf ports, while others are offering deals as much as $1.25 cwt. ($28/mt or $25/nt) below that range. Taiwanese producers, however, are offering a little higher, in the approximate range of $45.25-$46.25 ($998-$1,020/mt or $905-$925/nt). Trader sources describe current inventory levels as being healthy, and say that many are holding off on making large stock buys, especially since there are a lot of tons that are already en-route and on the water.
