US HSS producers announce sweeping price increase

Atlas Tube, Southland Tube, American Tube, Bull Moose Tube Company today have announced they would be raising structural tubing prices by $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) effective immediately.

If the increase is fully accepted, the new spot market price for US domestic HSS tubing will rise to $47.00 cwt. ($1036/mt or $840/nt), ex-Midwest mill.
