Spot market prices for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing have firmed by another $5.00 cwt. ($110/mt or $100/nt) since our last report.

Current prices are now trending at roughly $64 cwt. ($1,411/mt or $1,280/nt). FOB mill. Sources have indicated that tube mills have jumped at the opportunity to raise prices on the heels of HRC increases, adding that they expect another price increase is just around the corner.
