US domestic line pipe market still not wavering

Spot prices for US domestic and import API X-42 electric resistance welded (ERW) line pipe are unchanged since our last report seven days ago, as the most commonly reported transaction range from Vietnam and Taiwan has held at approximately $38.50-$39.50 cwt. ($849-$871/mt or $770-$790/nt) DDP loaded truck US Gulf coast ports while domestic prices continue to trend held at approximately $51.00-$52.00 cwt. ($1,124-$1,146/mt or $1,020-$1,040/nt) ex-Midwest mill.   Deals as much as $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) below the most commonly reported domestic spot price range are still available for those looking to book larger orders, and trader sources say offshore mills are also offering some wiggle room to those wanting to book significant tons.
