Demand for seamless pipes remains sluggish in Turkey. End-user activity has declined during the summer period and so traders have reduced their purchases. Quotations of Chinese seamless pipe offers have decreased by a minimum of $20/mt over the past month, while import offers of seamless pipes from the Czech Republic have lost $50/mt. Over the same period, import prices of Russian and Romanian pipes have stayed unchanged. Market participants do not foresee significant price growth in the period ahead as the seamless pipe market in Turkey may remain quiet with minimal buying activity.

Chinese suppliers are offering seamless pipes of 2"-12" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L to the Turkish market in the price range of $550-600/mt CFR.

Russian producer ChTPZ Group is offering 2"-6" seamless hot-formed pipes of grade B made to ASTM at about $780-800/mt CFR Turkey.

Czech producers' offers for 2"-6" seamless pipes of grade B as per ASTM A106 are being given to the Turkish market at about $1,050-1,070/mt CFR.

Import offers of seamless pipes from Romania, 3"-10" of grade B made to API 5L PSL1, are being given to the Turkish market at around $1,040-1,055/mt CPT.
