The CIS seamless pipe export trade has been thin over the past month amid the holiday lull, while Russian and Ukrainian suppliers have mostly kept their quotations stable. Export offers of Ukrainian producers have remained unchanged over the past month. Russian manufacturer ChTPZ has cut its export prices by around $10-15/mt over the same period, while export quotations of seamless pipes from Russia's TMK Group have remained unchanged. Market participants believe export quotations will remain at the current levels in the coming period as the lull in business will more or less continue until February.
Export prices from Ukrainian mill Interpipe for 2"-6" seamless pipes of grade B made to ASTM A106 are quoted at around $880-930/mt FOB for the Middle Eastern market, while pipes as per EN are offered at about $850-870/mt ex-works for the European market.
Export offers of seamless pipes of 60-168 mm diameter, of 10, 20 steel grades according to GOST 8731/8732 or ASTM A106, from Ukraine's Dnepropetrovsk Tube Works are at $900-950/mt FOB.
Russia-based ChTPZ Group's export quotations for hot-formed pipes with diameter of 60.3-219 mm of 10, 20 steel grades according to GOST 8731/8732 or ASTM A106 are at $830-840/mt FOB.
