Southeast Asian buyers bid for CIS billets ex-Russia’s Far East

It is heard that buyers in the Philippines are bidding for CIS origin billets ex-Russia's Far Eastern ports at $450/mt CFR LO Manila, while bids by buyers in Indonesia for the same origin billets also via Russian Far Eastern ports stand at $455/mt CFR FO, for December/January shipment. An extra $5/mt freight charge is involved for shipments from Russia's Far Eastern ports to Indonesia compared to shipments from the same ports to the Philippines.
