Business activity has remained sluggish in the Czech seamless pipe export market because of seasonal factors and the approach of the winter holidays in Europe. Export quotations of Czech origin seamless pipes have decreased by a maximum of €10/mt ($23-24/mt) over the past month amid the seasonal slowdown in trading activity. Market insiders believe Czech suppliers will probably try to maintain their seamless pipe prices at current levels in the coming month as no significant improvement in demand is expected.
